    This was our first visit... we were visiting with family... we had a great time... the food was excellent... the ambiance wonderful... and prices good considering the quality of the food... Cordera was our server... and he was exceptional... This well may be our favorite restaurant when visiting in the Houston area...

    Came over to Pappadeaux on a very busy Saturday evening. Had no reservation, but we were seated right away. Mark was our waiter, he was very attentive, respectful and overall great. Ordered the grilled octopus as an appetizer, it was delicious. Perfectly cooked, amazing flavor. The Seafood Tagliatelle Pasta was a great option, with plenty of seafood and full of flavor, the pasta perfectly cooked. The Crispy Skin Redfish & Jumbo Crab, was good, needing a bit more of flavor. Not great to justify the $47.95 price. The Crispy Salmon & Jumbo Crab was another great option. The size of the fillet was pretty large, great taste. For dessert, the NY Style cheesecake didn’t disappoint!

    Had a fantastic time at Pappadeaux today, thanks to our amazing server Jas'myn! She was attentive, upbeat, and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was on point—fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Definitely one of those meals where you pause mid-bite just to appreciate how good it is. We also had a hilarious moment when another waitress named Lais walked by—she and Jas'myn looked so much alike we did a double take! For a second, we thought Jas'myn had mastered teleportation. Both ladies had great energy and added to the fun vibe of the evening. Big shoutout to Jas'myn for making our visit memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

    Excellent experience at this location. Service and food were perfect on a Saturday night. We had the calamari and octopus appetizer along with shrimp cocktail. Main courses were wild caught snapper with shrimp and sea bass. Both were cooked to perfection and we enjoyed every last bite!

This dish in particular was a showstopper: tender, flaky fish bathed in rich, buttery sauce, topped with perfectly seasoned shrimp that tasted like they came straight from the Gulf. Paired with their signature dirty rice? Pure magic. From the warm service to the generous portions to the atmosphere that feels special without being stuffy, Pappadeaux continues to prove why it’s a standout wherever it sets up shop.     There are many places where you know what you are going to order days in advance. This is one of those places. There is not a bad thing on the menu. Fresh seafood prepared right every time. We love the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux. It's so good it has to be healthy! The staff are so attentive that you find yourself trying not to look around the restaurant toouch or they come to see if all well, in a great way. Something to look forward to in a Cajun seafood kind of way.

My wife and I recently visited Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen during a trip to the greater Houston area, and it was a genuinely outstanding dining experience that left us already planning our return. First Impressions & Ambiance (5/5) This location immediately draws you in! The bright, fun look from the street is incredibly appealing. As we approached the entrance, we were struck by the overall cleanliness, attention to detail, and the inviting exterior setup. The patio, complete with attractive lighting, space heaters, and a calming water element, creates a truly welcoming atmosphere—perfect for an evening out with friends. Walking inside, the energy shifts to an appealing blend of busy atmosphere and elegance. The interior dining area is beautifully executed, striking a perfect balance between a lively Cajun joint and a fine dining establishment. Service (5/5) Despite the busy night, we were seated quickly. Our server provided service that was truly on point, timely, and thoughtful. We were particularly impressed with their menu knowledge. We decided to take their recommendations and were so glad we did! The Food: Simply Amazing! The meal itself was the star of the show! Everything we ordered was executed perfectly: My Wife's Dish: She ordered a spectacular pasta plate featuring shrimp, sausage, crawfish, and an incredibly rich sauce. My personal favorite bite of the night, however, was the sausage mixed into her pasta—it was deeply flavored and added a wonderful complexity to the dish. My Dish: I went with a fantastic crawfish plate that offered the best of both worlds: delicious fried crawfish and crawfish prepared in a rich, savory stew. The side of steamed whole carrots with pistachios was great. They were absolutely fresh, perfectly cooked, and the pistachios added a delightful crunch and nutty note. A simple side, yet utterly delicious. Conclusion The combination of the eye-catching ambiance, the attentive and helpful service, and the truly excellent Cajun-inspired seafood made our dinner here a memorable occasion. As we were walking out the door, we were already discussing what we would order on our next visit! Pappadeaux Seafood is a must-visit in Houston.
